I was minding my business at Pillow when laptopless poet Stacey-Ann Chin of Def Poetry Jam fame needed to check her email. You are guessing correctly that I obliged her polite plea to do so on my laptop. But I doubt you guessed what followed: she proceeded to compensate me with an autographed advance copy of her new book “The Other Side of Paradise”. The first line? “The front of the car was not designed for having sex.”

  1. What a great story! Pillow’s one of those places I’ve been meaning to stop in to for, now that I think about it, years. I really need to get over there.

  2. I think you’ll enjoy the food there. I’ll be looking out for your review.
