No supermarket in Fort Greene?
Someone alleges in a letter to the New York Times that there is no supermarket in Fort Greene. What planet is this person living in? If the Pathmark at Atlantic Center and the Associated on Myrtle and Ryerson to name a few aren’t supermarkets, I’m not sure what is. If you read the full letter though you’ll see that the author is an apologist for development that is currently controversial in the neighborhood. But why lie for that cause?

Pathmark is pretty garbage though and it’s prices are inflated for some foodstuffs, especially vegetarian foodstuffs. The spot by Habana is good for veges and the health conscious but its prices are inflated as well. If you want to eat healthy/og and are on a budget you’re assed out in FG. I shop in the city or the slope.
Understood. It sounds like we need more variety but to say that there’s nothing is a bit extreme and was obviously politically motivated in this instance.
What about the bravo at washington park and myrtle? I live on WP and pop in for milk and the occasion veg.
